JPEGs on GPRS

Colour camera support on with the triband and quad band  version of the GPRS modules.

In order to respond to the requirements of the M2M market and in particular the security and control segment, we will implement its proprietary multimedia technology into the new Triband GPRS PCS module.

 

Digital cameras with the following characteristics:

• Type: AGILENT ADCM2650 or compatibles

• Technology: CMOS COLOR camera

• Max picture size: VGA 640x480 pixels

• Output format: JPEG Sensitivity: 5 lux 

The camera will be directly controlled by the GPRS module hardware/software providing the EASY CAMERA custom AT command interface to operate with it. Adding just some new EASY CAMERA by proprietary AT commands, developer application will easily control the camera operations. The integrated function of  EASY CAMERA and EASY GPRS enables the applicator to take a snapshot and send it as e-mail attachment or directly to an Internet sever with just few AT commands. In a near future, it will also be possible to send the taken snapshot directly to  MMS compliant cellular phones.
