Bluetooth Low Energy – BLE- applications
Have you ever lost and found your wallet? I lost is and found it, but I found it five years later in the bed box during the move to another flat. In the meantime I ordered a new bank card, driving licence and identity card. It was a lot of trouble and it was a loss of money because I had to pay for the new documents. With a BLE beacon in my wallet it would be possible to detect the wallet in the sleeping room. If you detect the room, then you can have a closer look. Some beacons already have a buzzer. With the Bluetooth Low Energy Profile called “Find Me” it would be possible to activate the buzzer.
And those who want to listen to me about BLE and opportunities are welcome to stay on 5th February at the IoT Meetup in Munich. You will learn about BLE, you can touch and play with inexpensive BLE beacons, and on top you have a chance to win such BLE beacons during the event.
