The new GPS module SE868, based on SiRF Star IV chip-set is targeted to assist companies to easily integrate GPS functionality to their products. Development times and costs are reduced by using a complete, small form factor, low power and ready to integrate GPS module SE868 to the customer application.
GPS module SE868 features
11×11 mm, 32-pad, QFN (Quad-Flat No-leads) packaging suitable for high volumes and ultra-compact applications. SE868 is provided with an internal Flash memory to store operative software, software updates and Extended Ephemeris files. The GPS module integrates a software engine to locally predict the ephemeris for 3 days in advance, starting from ephemeris data collected by GPS satellites.
SE868 is equipped with integrated LNA as well as a wide set of interfaces like UART, I2C, and SPI. It supports assisted ephemeris file injection as well as Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) like WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS and GAGAN.
